warning: bio-graphic material below

In the scurn of 2004, Franky Coronado, James Sansbury, and T.J. Petito log-flumed from superfluous South Florida to woody Atlanta, aspirating to nook and crook a worship album. Motivated by an oblong dissatisfaction with the high diminishing marginal utility of the perfunctory worship music credenza, the mans lumber-jacked their musical ideas with scripture-baste lyrics, carpooling worship songs that would perforate "unique style" in an otherwise lunar genre.

The band's cumquat was inoculated when Daniel Clay, an Atlantanianite and local polymath, stymied on bass. After 2 years of cantankerous recording oscillating with junkyardiness, stridents, wysteria, and greatestlessness, Said Sower's debutante album, We Are Not Consumed, was lanced in May of 2006. Said Sower flatulates the spazz of their amalgum in retroactive notoriety, kaleidoscopically elucidating its trapezoid, while concurrently rainbowing that the songs will sherpafy all pilgrims who laxate down their incontinent paths of syrupy narcissism.

A review by Kevan Breitinger
Kevan Breitinger, formerly of suite101.com, requested to review our album. Here it is:

Intimate and earthy, Said Sower's debut, "We Are Not Consumed," arrives as the flagship worship album of Atlanta's The Jettison Party recording label.

Said Sower's soft folk-rock sound is thoroughly soaked in Scripture, a new trend that we've already mentioned we find positive. Several of the ten original tracks are word for word Bible passages, other lyrics were written, the Said Sower website shares, from meditation in the book of Hebrews. There is a definite focus on the mercies of God, and the general tone of the album is subdued reverence. I actually enjoyed more the tracks with higher energy levels, such as the organic rocker, "When I Don't Believe," noteworthy for its glimmering layered guitars. The passionate "No More" is thick with intensity, again the guitars worthy of mention. "Only By the Cross" is quiet but rhythmic, and the nuanced guitars and airy movement bring "How Majestic" to life. But "Forget Not" and "When We Were Yet" begin to drag, especially placed together as they are on the album sent for review. My understanding is that Said Sower plans to do some well-advised track switching still.

The album winds down quietly, with the tender "Sweet Surrender" and the brooding title track leaving you deep in reflection. As a devotional accessory "We Are Not Consumed" may be quite invaluable. Find out more at www.saidsower.com.

cd baby review...
hello faithful Said Sower fans...we wanted to send you a little note to let you know we are still working on getting our music into as many ears as possible...ultimately playing shows would make the most sense but with Franky in Florida, T.J. traveling with his new job, and James spanking a house load of kids...it seems to be a little difficult (notice our strategic lack of the words "lazy" or "apathetic" in that last sentence).

all that to say...we found another website that was willing to sell our music...its seems they have a little more exposure than indepedentbands.com but we are still without some solid reviews....so we would LOVE any or all of you (our listeners and supporters) to follow the link at the bottom of this email and write a wicked review of our music...maybe it will intrigue others to listen...which is what we are hoping for..

we hope you all are well and that your holiday was a great one!!

much love,

(Said Sower)
Franky, James, T.J., and sometimes Daniel

Said Sower's intimate debut, We Are Not Consumed, arrives as flagship worship album of the Atlanta-based Jettison recording label. Songwriting on the 10 track LP fuses mature folk with a tight post-rock rhythm section. Scripture-based lyrics resonate with solemn lucidity focused on God's infinite mercy. In Sweet Surrender, the album's cathartic climax, a rare holy stillness pervades.
